Version 2.0 update!

• Formula Support!: It doesn't look much different, but the app now understands the three most common formula types in the game. +L and +1/2L now work in your Atk and Def fields and will update dynamically. The app now also understands what your party's HCL is. So you may enter something like HCL+3 for an enemy Level or Life count, and these values will updae whenever the foe is called up again, and update per your party's HCL. These are displayed in an accent color and the formula can be overwritten by clicking in the field and updating it. Note that enemy stats only save when they are defeated or when they flee.
• Bug Fix: Fixed a recently introduced bug where character levels would sometimes not save in Tavern Mode.

• Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where adjusting the party lineup in Troupe Mode could cause data loss in the Quests.

Version 1.9 update

• Enhanced Combat Tracker: A new button has been added for tracking split encounters (a boss with minions, two bosses, etc...). Autofill functionality has been extended to the Bestiary, so you will be able to quickly bring up old encounters without having to go through the dropdown. Defeating or causing an enemy to flee will automatically update the bestiary entry. You no longer have to enter the qty or life of a foe in a separate screen.
• Known Issue: The split view of the combat tracker does not work well on mobile phones currently, but should work on larger devices. I will patch the mobile formatting in as soon as I am able. Stick to single encounter cards for now until I have a chance to adjust this.
• Manual Dice Rolls: For multiplayer focused games, a way to share a manual dice roll. Simply type in the value, then press roll to share your result.

Version 1.8.5 update

• Multiple Taverns: Reworked Troupe Mode to hold multiple Taverns. Now your heroes can stay in the tavern they inhabit in the game, should you have mutliple cities and taverns on your map. Drag and drop to move a hero between Taverns.
• Bug Fix: Fixed a bug where heroes created in Troupe Mode were not immediately available for deployment.

Version 1.8 update

• Global Compendium: Every item, spell, ability, and description you enter will now be added to a Global Compendium. You may autocomplete entries and populate the description along with it. This means you only have to enter items and descriptions once, and can apply them to future characters! Edit the master list in GM Tools. them.
• Stackable Items: You may now edit your item quantity in your inventory. You may now keep multiples of mundane items tidy in your Inventory.

Version 1.7 update

• Quest Tracking: You many now track your quests in the dedicated Quest Tracker. Specify a known quest giver from your Journal, or make up a new one on the spot. Add sub-tasks and check them off to complete them.
• Multiplayer: You may now host a multiplayer game using PeerJS to share your session live with other users. This has only been through basic testing and configuration, and I need real-world testing data, so please reach out with any bugs!
• Change Uses: For your spells and abilities that you need to adjust the use count, this update has you covered. You no longer need to delete and re-add a spell to control the number of uses.
• NPC Generator: Quickly generate a random NPC. If you like the NPC, you can add it to a Location in your Journal.
• Formatting Tweaks: Made several more quality-of-life adjustments, including better Journal and NPC formatting, visible character levels on the combat screen, and I've paved the way for future updates.

Version 1.65 update

• The Bestiary: Enemy cards you fill out can now be added to a bestiary of foes. This is an opt-in system. A "Save Foe" button will appear on any completed enemy card (defeated or fled), and pressing this will add this card to a list of foes. Next time you begin a new encounter, you will be offered a dropdown menu to select from any foes that have been added to the bestiary. The level or life points may still need to be edited, but all the other details should carry over. Meaning that any special info you choose to type into the encounter card will be saved for future encounters. A Bestiary button at the bottom of the Combat screen allows you to modify your bestiary by deleting entries or resetting the whole bestiary. The bestiary is tied to the whole app rather than one party, so these foes should be available to load up in any party. The list is in alphabetical order, but I could modify this based on user feedback.
• NEW THEME! Classic Mode: A new theme has been added that will transport you back to the days of classic TTRPGs. Switch from the original Dark Mode to Classic Mode in the starting screen. These are intensive to get right, so more will be on the way, but for now, the two themes will have to suffice.
• Better Character Creation: As the first things I designed, the character cards needed some updating. They now allow you to add Atk and Def mods, add descriptions or special rules right in the creation dialogue, and there is some automation involved to help you track your Traits more effectively (set uses per day/adventure/combat/passive).
• Mobile Optimization: This is going to be a constant, ongoing battle to get all this info to fit on a phone screen. I have made some good strides toward that goal. If anything is still too hard to read or access, please drop me a line!
• Visual and Functional Tightening: Addressed many formatting issues and one or two logic issues, and added an additional layer of polish to the presentation.

Version 1.5.43 update

• Bug Fix: Enemies now check for morale when MORE than half have been slain. Combat card info disappearing after cards collapse and reopen has been fixed.

Version 1.5.37 update!

• Updates: Now you can check for updates from your app without having to go to the website. I also won a very dicey fight against the textfield entry and Android's floating OS bar. I almost didn't make it out of the dungeon alive!

• NEW FEATURE! Combat Tracker: Now you can automatically track all of your encounters with ease. See all your basic stats across the top, fill in as much enemy info as you like, see a running tally of your Minor and Major Foes encountered, and use a basic combat dice roller, all in one screen! Combat can now be more seamless. Plus, you'll never forget to make a morale check again! Combat tracking is saved on a per Party basis.
• Better Mode Separation: The game will revert to the game mode you used last. Your assembled party and previously used party name will remain in place in Troupe Mode from the last time used for quick redeployment when you start back up.
• Renaming: You can now rename your Party by selecting it in the Standard Mode interface and pressing the Rename button. You can also rename your tavern, and should you generate a new name you like, you can make that your tavern name with the push of a button!
• Journal Log: You can now back up and import your jornal from one party to another. Download a plain text version of your full Journal.

Version 1.4 update

• Update Instructions: If you've already installed PPP on your device, you should get a pop-up asking you if you want to update. If you do not, for desktop users, enter chrome://apps into your search bar, and a list of installed apps will display. Right click PPP and select remove or uninstall. Then when you load back into https://4adparty.com, you may reinstall the app from the address bar. For Android users, long press on the PPP icon on the desktop, and press the i or info button. In the following screen, press uninstall. For iOS users, just long press and delete, and then follow the normal procedure to Add to Home Screen.
• New Feature: A space for hirelings, animal companions, and mounts.
• Bug Fix: Repaired hero permanence in Troupe mode. Heroes that return from an adventure in Troupe Mode will be updated app-wide.

Planned Updates

• HCL: My next step will be to accommodate HCL as an acronym. The app will know your party's HCL, and typing this into a field will adjust this to the appropriate integer, while maintaining the underlying text.
• Ambience: As a musician, creating a soundscape full of lush music that evokes the feeling of listening to the soundtrack to Elder Scrolls: Oblivion would be my goal. No other soundtrack embodies fantasy ambience like this one. This is a long-term goal.
• More Themes
• Mapping: I'd love to create a functioning mapping system, but this is a huge endeavor to accomodate all the flexibility you have in just drawing the map yourself. Demand would have to be high...
• Cloud Saving: This is fully dependant on user demand. It will be a significant undertaking, but could be done if anyone wants it.

PPP is a labor of love by one individual. I'd love for this app to continue to grow, and hopefully expand to facilitate any 4AD adventure or expansion you want to play. 4AD has an incredible amount of replayability. This app makes it easy to start over, keep track of multiple characters, etc...
